Faked volley of arrows released from a group of archers with long bows. The individual sound was modeled in Analog Box, replicated with variations, filtering, random triggering, and panning in yet another Analog Box circuit, and then two runs with periodic output were mixed together (in Cool Edit Pro), one shorter and one longer. Here are 2 shorter, denser firings, followed by 2 longer, more sporadic firings. Most of what you hear is the quick swoosh and the resulting hit on the wooden bow, with very little receding hiss from the fletching of the flying arrows. Remember, it's totally fake, so it may or may not be useful. This was in response to a request in a forum posting ( Volley of arrows sound needed ), which in a way is kind of a like a dare, though not formally, so I put it in my dares pack.

This could really work for one of my long-distance shots, thank you!
