A short snippet (perhaps too short) from video I shot in August 2003 at my home of origin in upstate South Carolina. My mother just called them Jizzy Wickets, having no idea what made the sounds, and most people think of them as being crickets, but they're mostly tree frogs. This snippet has been converted into a seamless loop, which I almost immediately after the recording, but I just never bothered to upload it to freesound before now. It doesn't necessarily belong in the "CricketUpCloseChirp" pack, by name anyway, but the subject matter is close enough that ... well, why not?
