I think it would be useful to have the capability to add a "Remix Alert" and link it to the source after a file has already been submitted. I'm sure there have been cases where this was forgotten initially and only after being submitted was it realized. (It would be a pain to get such a file deleted and then have to re-submit it just to add the Remix Alert.)
I made such a mistake myself recently. But for me this was not due to forgetfulness. I am new here and was not familiar with the submission process until after I used it for the first time.
Hey, dittos on the thread from late 2010 about adding a scrubber to the player, whether with Flash or whatever.
It would be extremely helpful for searching through and sourcing on anything longer than 30 sec.
Thanks!
I wish there were a download button by each sample in the search results page. More often than not I don't want or need to see the page with more information about the sample. I just want to search for something and download maybe one or two of the results that sound closest to what I was looking for.

I find that it's a lot of fun to browse through the freesound loops, and play several loops at once. More than one sample can be previewed at once, so you can actually mess around with them -- with a complete disregard for rhythmic precision -- in real time.It would be great if you could go through the archive, select a bunch of samples, then see them all together on one page and jam with them.
The ability to play several files simultaneously is indeed a lot of fun. I'd like to be able to do this on the geotag view.
Rather than having the audio element directly in the little bubble that comes up, you could dynamically create a set of them elsewhere on the page so that when focus on one is lost and the bubble disappears the audio keeps playing. As well as being able to collage sounds, this would be useful so that one could continue to browse recordings while listening.
