Maybe after this is over gather up all of the entries and make a complete new sound, it could even be a dare have others combine all of the entries to make a new sound.
I have managed to use two sounds. Will try to download and listen to the other ones.

Thanks AlienXXXActually I also uploaded it to my soundcloud
By the way, how is created a remix group of a sound? It would be interesting to see the remix groups of the sounds once the dare is over.
Cool. I will have a look at the Soundclound post and enter some comments there also.
Not sure I know exactly what you mean when you say "remix groups of the sounds".
Do you mean the manipulated sounds that people have used in their pieces?
If you actually mean if it is possible to link back the manipulated sounds to their wource, the answer is "YES." But the person posting the sound has to go back into the sound after it has been moderated (i.e., approved into the Freesound database).
In the sound page, on the right you will find a button "edit sound information". This takes you back to the screen where you can enter/change description and tags, but now there are further options there: There is a section called "sound sources". If you click "Edit sound sources" you are taken to another screen.
You can add multiple sources (if your sound is a remix of several sounds". But first you have to find them... You can search like you would do a normal Freesound search, but the best is to know the source's 'Freesound Number' (which is the numbers at the front of the sound name when you download the file) and search for that.
Then press "add source" to add each sound as a source. (The "add source" button only appears after you have made a sucessful search.)
Then you must press "Save" to save the sources onto your sound data and take you back to the previous screen.
I'm still messing around with the sounds, something I have never really done before. I only recently started to explore all the filters and effects available to me. It's fun actually and surprising how much you can change a sample. I hope to put it all together this weekend.
I am about to upload all of my processed sounds from this... Just because on mine it appears people are having a hard time telling the sounds apart due to the amount of effects and processing I done to them.

The sounds I have processed and used for my composition are here:

Note you can use these sounds also in your composition, as they are modified versions of one of the 8 sounds of the day which must be used for the entry submissions for Dare 24. (hope this makes sense)
Here is my dare.

Still can't make direct links to soundcloud, oh no!! you'll have to cut and paste how annoying LoL
Maybe a little short like my concentration span. This was a great dare, encouraged me to explore my DAW a bit more and get out of my "comfort" zone with a definate goal at the end. Thanks. I'm going to listen to all the other entrants now, didn't do it before in case I got intimidated
Oh sorry I posted this in the wrong thread (amended)
Everybody did amazing dares!
I didn't put mine in a pack but these are the sounds I made to create my "song"

Running short on time. Don't think will be able to complete this. Will try to upload whatever I have done so far.
@toiletrolltube thank you so much for enlightening me!! I did try removing the 's' a while ago but the direct link then took me to the front page of soundcloud. Removing the 's' and the # did the job. Hooray
