So many wind recordings turn into artifacts of the recording equipment. You obviously took some effort to keep that from happening and it really shows. Nice recording. I wish I could find rain recordings that had this many ups and downs, calm and intense, yet crystal clear.
Nice work. Saving this for when I need a windy day.

Thank you for your comment, This sound was recoded by lying down in the lee of the wind behind a raised bed and pointing the mics towards the rigging, I have edited the description to include a Rode Blimp as well.
