This effect was created by spinning a bicycle wheel at various speeds and placing a slightly weighted piece of nylon over it. Then the sound was slowed down a bit in Audition - and most of the highs were EQ'ed out - and any rumble was removed from the low end as well. This loops fairly easily in Qlab - it was used for the premiere production of "Day Light" at Theatre Three in Dallas - November 2016
