An electric school bell recorded at the Nashua Actorsingers'
rehearsal hall in the summer of 2001. The ring lasts for 22 seconds,
but can be shortened by removing the beginning. The echo lasts 14
seconds, but can be faded early if necessary. The recording was made in
a stairwell using a stereo microphone on a Roland VS-1680 at 44,100
samples per second.

This is great. I've used it in one of my school-related mashups at http://www.k12handhelds.com/mashups/?p=39#more-39. Thanks.

I can't believe anyone would rate this at less than 9 or 10, I mean what's to complain about. The recording is perfect, the quality is excellent and it is a classic sound of it's genre... :)
