recorded about every sound you can get off a chinese guzheng, tuned in D pentatonic. recorded with blue spark and blue bluebird condenser mics through a scarlett 6i6 interface. no credits necessary but I'd like to hear what you use it in!

Your welcome! I've got a question about your instrument. Is it just me, or is the Guzheng tuned an octave lower than the standard tuning? Usually these instruments are tuned from D2 to D6, while yours is tuned an octave lower from D1 to D5.

Bowing the Guzheng in the low register makes it sound almost like a Double Bass. Also in the high register, it could almost sound like a bunch of Erhus. Nice work!
