Recording of a common blackbird (supposedly) at dawn (around 4 a.m.) on a concrete neighbourhood (causing natural reverb/delays). In the background, you can hear other, a bit more distant birds mixed with the reflections of the main soloist.
You may find a few similar recordings of early morning blackbird, but this one should definitely have the best quality. This is just an excerpt - let me know if you need a longer fragment - just let me know: I have around 40 minutes of this recording.
Recorded on Sound Devices MixPre-6 II in AB stereo with matched pair of Sennheiser MKH8020 placed on an 85cm wide stereo bar.
p.s.
if you fancy comparison - with this session I've recorded additional mono channel in the middle, made with Octava MK-012 (super-cardioid capsule) - the difference is astounding, so however it is probably not totally scientific test, I'm happy to share it with sound gear geeks.
