One of my favorite sound effects of all time...the Recognizer vehicle from the 1982 movie, "Tron". In celebration of the upcoming release of Tron 2, I'm making a series of recreated sound effects from the movie.
The recognizer sound effect was originally created by Academy Award-winning sound designer Frank Serafine by modifying the "Helicopter" preset patch on the Prophet-5 synthesizer. I recreated it in FL Studio with the 3x0SC synth and added a flanger for that "flowing" sound. Hope you guys like this! Please credit me!

Syna-Max,
I signed up FreeSound just to hear your recreated Recognizer. It is also one of my all-time favorite sound effects. You did a great job of it and I gave you a correspondingly great rating. IMHO perfection would be a single notch lower frequency, and a few pauses (as when in the movie the recognizer is powering up or turning) for splicing simplification.
Thank you for creating and providing!
