1966 Triumph Vitesse Six taken for a drive in English countryside. I took the road to March, then turned off at the Wyton airfield and drove through Kings Ripton. Although the roof is closed, notice the wind noise - it really is this noisy to drive. I reach 70 MPH a couple of times and manage a nice slide at one point though you can barely hear the tyres screech over the noise of the engine. Recorded using Soundman OKM microphones and a ZOOM H4. Post processing is minor EQ in Sound Forge to remove subsonic boom. Saved as FLAC. Enjoy!

A great effect my friend, love the sound of old car engines, more heavy and stronger a sound than modern engines. I like this a lot, many thanks. :)

Just great, old sixes are like music to me. What with the gearwhine and the sound of the engine at high revs..
Great stuff, really enjoyed listening to it. Cheers.
