A damn large (70 MB) recording made one very cold night (-17oC) through the quarter-open window with my new Shure SM58. 9 minutes of Moscow slums droning, with occasional sounds of dogs, something wicked coming this way or the other, etc. There's a highway nearby which serves lion's share of droning around here, - yet every noise is bounced from multiple walls providing some pretty seminatural reverberation. Hiss level had been cleansed up a bit, at some expense, of course, but the loss seems tolerable to me. Good luck in using this.

-17C and you left your window open to record this? What can I say? Thanks!! Loving the sample. Also nice to know your SM58 stood up to the freezing cold (I own one too). Cheers!
