Sounds of a ships fog-horn at close range (about 200 meters). This is part of a 3 recording set. The ship made the same sound three times as it came up a harbour. This recording was made at night. Great sound. I remember living down by the Derwent and hearing the ships going up the river to the Zinc Works. If you're over in Melbourne, check out the Models and Miniatures exhibition at Melbourne Museum, I'll probably be using it in the soundscape there.
