Another recording from a fibreglass rowing-boat on a large still lake at dawn. There are near sounds of the water lapping against the hull and terns circling just overhead.Distant sounds include an arctic loon (gavia arctica)(at 12 seconds)and an elk barking.NT4-BMA2-R09HR.

Hi! I used your clip in a soundscape non commercial mix posted here: http://macjams.com/song/81595 thought you would like to hear it and get a copy of if you like.

I'm using soundforge but for a single noise reduction programme izotopeRX may be what you're looking for.Check Benboncans uploads for examples.
btw. The arctic loon is one handsome bird!

yeah, i know that problem....but i try to do less noise reduction on atmos. in the end its in most cases the sound that is played at the lowest volume compared to the other sound elements.
what noise reduction software/hardware do you use? i was thinking about buying a noise reduction software, so can you recommend anything?

Noise reduction and more, the recording needed a 20 db boost which gave a lot of floor noise,it was also recorded in 24 bit and converted to 16 bit using dithering...your comment reminds me i don't hear high frequencies so good..appreciate the feedback, thanks.
