A 15 minute montage of binaural recordings made at the Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary (Ingleside, Ontario, Canada) in the Summer of 2006. It covers a 3 month period which was initially wet in the early weeks and dryer later on. The listeners will hear a variety of sounds ranging from birds, frogs and insects to distant human activity, airplanes and trains. Equipment used : Sony Minidisc (MZ NHF-800), binaural mics + preamp (www.visivoxtechnologies.com). Basically, this montage provides a sampling of what visitors can hear at the park. Sounds best with headphones. Enjoy !

The sound recording of the environmental sounds certainly makes me
appreciate having a better sound card. I listened to the recording a year
or so ago and was not very impressed, to be honest. But now...wow!
The first five or six minutes is my favorite.
