Interesting. I still have the clock. It's an old family heirloom. If you want another recording of it, let me know. I have a range of possible microphones, etc.

I can't believe nobody has commented on this - its such a lovely dark sound.
I may end up using it in some sound design for a live performance of HG wells the Time Machine, unless I can get hold of a chime that sounds this nice and ominous and record it in stereo.
I shall let you know. In any case - thanks for this! Its a great sound.
