My parents' hide-a-bed couch made this crazy sound every time you open or close it. I like the deep final note it makes when it is closed. This recording is decent enough for background noise, but I wish I was able to position my recorder to really get a clearer sound. Oh well, there are other creaking couches.

I used my Zoom H1 Handy Recorder. I highly recommend these, because they are not too expensive and they catch a wide range of frequencies.
