Splash into the ocean surf, sound of submersion, bubbles, whale song, returns to surface to surf and crashing wave. In this version I added more musical synthesized elements to my original “Water1” submission.
Constructed in LIVE! with Reaktor and Reason.
Surf base made from white noise filtered and tweaked in a synth called Buzzer.
I added Pitched down and filtered gong, two cymbals and a kick drum to create the first splash. Automated another filter to create the submerging and added a water splashing through a grain delay to create splashes and bubbles. The whale sound came from a Reaktor synth called 2-Osc. Another kick drum and crash were filtered and added for the second wave. Added and automated a filter delay to tailor the fade out. Used a lot of riding and automation. The extra sounds in this version where synthesized with three Malstrom graintable synths in Reason.
