I use a bamboo stick to generate some wind *swash* sounds. I used following bamboo stick:
Bamboo pole on carpet #1

Find more similar sounds in the bamboo stick swosh, whoosh, whosh, swhoosh... sounds pack.

I like this sound effect so much. I've played it a few times just to listen to it, but am using it in my projects now as well (youtube.com/perkybird if anyone's interested)
