I took the drums from a track called "Sold" by a band that I play in (www.theakai.com),
and challenged myself to make them sound like a vintage breakbeat. I'm
really happy with the results. This break is eight bars long with
fills. Enjoy!

I really appreciate it. More than anything I'm glad that this old recording of mine is helping people create new stuff.

That "something weird" is the sm57 bouncing off the head. The mic stand fell into it during the take. I didn't notice it until we were done recording. I figure it adds character. Ha.
